The State of Tennessee's General Assembly
Let's welcome back Sam McKenzie to give us the update on the recent Tennessee General Assembly legislative session. McKenzie represents District 15 in Knoxville and served as chairman of the Tennessee Black Caucus of State Legislators during the 113th General Assembly. A state representative since 2020, he serves on the Education Committee, Health Committee, Government Operations Committee, and the House Ethics Committee. He served on the Knox County Commission from 2008-2016.
